Bruce Springsteen was born on September 23rd, 1949 in New Jersey.
Bruce got introduced into music at an early age and purchased his first
guitar at age 13. At age 16, his Mom upgraded his guitar by taking
out a loan for $60. In 1969, he hooked up with Stevie Van Zandt
and played at small clubs in Ashbury
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have an extensive history going
back 30 years beginning in 1973 with the record "Greetings from Ashbury
